profane existence nr. 59 (fall 2010) issue#59 contains interviews with dave dictor of the legendary millions of dead cops, twin cities hardcore punks in defence, artist/illustrator hush a.k.a. jeremy clark. there is also the first of a two part series in memorial of warren "spider" hastings and the legacy of his punkfests at spiderland acres. to round it off, all of our regular columnists are back in full swing, maygun covers indian foods in her vegan recipe section and review section that totally raises the bar for the level of thoroughness of each item.

proud to be punk nr. 15 wie immer saufett, und einmal mehr erstaunt es mich nicht, dass der jan das romp so gut findet. auch im proud to be punk findet sich ein guter querschnitt durch punk, politik und persönliches. diesmal ein sehr umfassender israel-reisebericht, berichte zu rash leipzig, zu straight edge, ein blick nach gran canaria, szene-reporte, band-interviews, bisschen reviews...es gibt sehr vieles zu entdecken, die politische linie ist klar & deutlich, gut so.!einmal mehr meine uneingeschränkte kaufempfehlung für dieses heft!

proud to be punk nr. 16 jan ist nicht zu bremsen, und so gibt's hier bereits die nummer 16 vom proud to be punk-zine. wie immer ein dicker a5er mit sehr viel zu lesen. öde band-interviews und seitenweise reviews sucht man auch dieses mal vergebens, dafür gibt's einen bericht über das (von jan mit-organisierte) fanzine-treffen in leipzig, eine vorstellung der noise and resistance-dvd, einen bericht zum konflikt in westsahara, interviews mit holger burner und leidkultur, einen bericht über piraten, und und und, ich zähle hier mal nictht alles auf, auf jeden fall wie immer von vorne bis hinten lesenswert & immer wieder schön zu sehen, dass es derart aktive und umtriebige punks gibt.

romp #32 diesmal gibt's interviews mit visions of war und dem real deal record store aus berlin (wo ich mal hoffe, dass das mit der ladenschliessung nicht eintritt!). daneben einiges aus südostasien, der nächste teil der 'reihe nahrung' (diesmal zur vertragslandwirtschaft), einen längeren artikel zu punk & homosexualität und wie immer -zig sachen mehr. darf in keinem punker-haushalt fehlen!
