This is a quick manual for your first Supernode jump with KaZuperNodes.



 



Kazaa Supernode List...



1. Press 'Check Status'.
2. Click on 'Localize' if you would like to get more information on where the Supernodes are located.

3. Select a Supernode by double clicking on it. Choose one with a low response time.



New Supernode...



The Supernode you have chosen will appear now in the 'IP:Port' field.

1. You can press 'Check Status' to see if the Supernode is still online.



2. Click on 'Connect to new Supernode' (connect to new Supernode without restarting Kazaa)
or on 'Set new SN and restart KaZaA' (click this if Kazaa isn't already running or if 'Connect to new Supernode' doesn't work).



Current Connection...



The 'Refresh' button will flash until kazaa is connected to the new Supernode. Then the current connection information will be refreshed and show your current Supernode. The status indicator in the lower right corner changes its colour to green if you are connected to the Supernode which you have chosen.



If something goes wrong...

Sometimes Kazaa isn't able to connect to a Supernode and your Supernode list will look like this:



Press 'Restore Original Supernode List' and restart Kazaa or select another Supernode to connect to.
